Accreditation
Both
campuses have been accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners
of the State Bar of California
for over 25 years. In keeping with our mission to offer high quality,
yet affordable, legal education, neither campus has sought nor
presently expects to obtain accreditation from the American Bar
Association.

Admission to practice law in California
Graduates
of the College are educationally qualified to sit for the Bar
Examination in California. Admission to the practice of law within
the State of California is governed by the Office of Admissions
of the State Bar.
All
law students within the State must register with that office
within 90 days of beginning law studies. Registration forms
are available at the State Bar website.
Those wishing to practice law in California must comply with the Rules Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California, copies of which may be obtained from the State Bar. Additional information about State Bar requirements is also contained in the Colleges annually published Policy Manual.

Admission to practice law outside California
Graduates of the College desiring to practice law in states other than California should be aware that most states require graduation from a law school approved or accredited by the American Bar Association or approved or accredited by the state supreme court or examining committee as a prerequisite to taking the bar examination in that state.
Study at, or graduation from, this law school may not qualify a student to take the bar examination in other states or satisfy the requirements to practice law in other states. Therefore, if a student intends to seek admission to practice law in a state other than California, the student should contact the admitting authority in that state for information regarding the legal education requirements for admission to practice law.
